How many coffee makers do you have? I have two. One is a plain old coffee maker, with a thermal pot. This is a must for all morning enjoyment. The other is, of course, a Keurig. I live on coffee.
I thought I would show you my fueling stations. First up is the conventional coffee maker. I keep everything I need right by the coffee maker. The coffee, the filters and the spoons are all there.
Having everything ready makes it so easy to fumble through making coffee first thing in the morning, half awake. The canisters hold the coffee and the filters. I should have gotten ones that had the rubber on the lids because it’s a little too much responsibility to be careful putting the lids back on without chipping the glass. The “sugar bowl” doesn’t hold sugar, I don’t use it. It hides my cinnamon that I often add to the coffee filter basket before I brew. It gives the coffee the perfect hint of flavor.
And of course the spoon jar got a little embellishment with a burlap ribbon.
Then there is the Keurig. I only use this for a quick coffee on my way out, or when I want coffee but no one else does and I love coffee but come on…a whole pot is a bit much.
Since I use my Keurig for stuff other than coffee, I keep it all at the ready. The K cups, are front and center of course, and the basket usually includes a seasonal flavor.
Hot beverages wouldn’t be complete without these guys. Hot chocolate, black tea and green tea. They are all here for the choosing. Pick your poison.
Organization is all about making life easier. This is one way I keep things easy.
What’s your favorite K cup? I need new flavors for the basket.
