A long time ago I bought a cardboard cow and a matching pig. They were on clearance and I liked them but they didn’t have quite enough oomph. They looked like brown paper bags, and that look just didn’t go with my dining room. They needed a little something to brighten them up. It was time for a cardboard animal makeover.
Obviously this is them in their natural habitat. Ooooor it’s them in my front yard moments before my handy dandy spray paint jumped into action.
I walked by them on my way to paint my macaron ornaments and figured they should join the paint party.
I stared at these guys in their “meh” state for years…yes years, and in 10 seconds I decided I loved them. See why?
They remind me of brass animals that are so trendy right now.
My daughter even dressed them up for Christmas.
Such a quick update that makes such a difference. Spray paint is my hero.
